Transforming an Agency into an Online Community

In a transformative journey, I helped reshaped Marmalade Collective from a talent agency into a vibrant online community. Steering the strategy and development through research articles and new content segments, I led a team of designers and copywriters. My leadership extended to overseeing projects like 'Culture in Colour,' a mini-series exploring the history of African print and designers, and 'Homemade Sessions,' a monthly live show featuring new music artists from Africa or the diaspora. Through workshops and regular meetings, I vision turned Marmalade Collective into a dynamic hub of creativity and collaboration.

Marmalade Collective: Empowering Women Through the Lens of International Women's Day

In a poignant celebration of International Women's Day, I orchestrated a campaign that went beyond the conventional narratives. With a desire to honour the tireless efforts of creative women behind the scenes, I, alongside the dynamic team at @marmaladecollective, brought this vision to life.

Collaborating with esteemed partners, including @amaka.studio, @jcdecaux_uk, and @creativedebuts, my leadership ensured a seamless fusion of creativity and purpose. The project not only showcased the collective's commitment to empowering women but also expressed gratitude to those remarkable women who stepped in front of the camera.

Through my lens, the campaign became a visual ode to the strength, resilience, and diversity of women. The empowering narrative extended beyond the images, encapsulating the spirit of International Women's Month. Notably, the campaign adorned billboards across London and the UK, reaching a wide audience.

This project serves as a testament to my ability to infuse creative brilliance with a meaningful message, fostering a sense of community and empowerment on a grand scale.
